Dodgy pods? Or am I just unlucky

I was very happy with the machine. I bought 4 boxes of columbia select. Having used half of the first box I have had 4 pods the the lids have separated in the machine whilst brewing. This resulted in coffee granules in the cup and the machine requires a thorough clean in awkward places to reach. I sincerely hope this is just a bad batch as I still have three and a half boxes left. I am not happy with the pods after recommending them to my friends
